The UPMC Magee-Womens Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology
The Magee-Womens Center for Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology offers woman-focused knowledge and expertise. We offer personalized reproductive health care. This includes evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
We address all conditions associated with infertility. This includes fertility preservation options for those who are pursuing future fertility. We also do this for those who are undergoing treatment that may make them infertile.
We have one of the most advanced fertility preservation programs in the country. We're one of the only centers in the U.S. that processes and stores ovarian and testicular tissue. We're also one of the only centers that can transplant frozen ovarian tissue.

UPMC Magee-Womens Gynecology
Almost 70% of women have delayed a gynecology visit, which is critical to a woman's health.

Fibroid Treatment
As many as three out of every four women have uterine fibroids (noncancerous growths in the wall of the uterus). This makes them the most frequently diagnosed tumor of the female pelvis.
Many women are unaware they have uterine fibroids. Only about 25% of women experience symptoms.
The UPMC Magee-Womens Fibroid Treatment Center offers the region’s most comprehensive approach to uterine fibroid tumors. It combines the expertise of board-certified gynecologists and interventional radiologists.

Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain

Midlife Health
Our midlife health program is one of few in the region. The North American Menopause Society has certified all of our doctors as menopause practitioners.
We have expertise in managing a wide range of menopausal symptoms. These include hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, vaginal dryness, and decreased sexual desire.
We can help women prepare for menopause, navigate the changes it can bring, and embrace many years of good health and joy. Along with well-woman gynecological care for midlife women who are healthy, we also offer special care for women with more complex needs.
