- Minority Nurse Mentorship Program
With a mission to identify, retain, and enhance the professional development of minority nurses at the bedside and in leadership roles within UPMC, the program provides UPMC nurses with the support needed for successful career development.
- Health Care Initiatives Program (HCIP)
HCIP’s purpose is to break down barriers to career advancement by easing access to education for employees seeking health-career opportunities. Unique to the program’s mission is comprehensive funding of participants’ tuition, books, lab fees, transportation, even child care.
- Internships
UPMC’s Summer Associates Program is designed to provide undergraduate students entering their junior or senior year with valuable, hands-on experience within various finance disciplines.
- Fellowships
Some UPMC departments offer fellowship positions, providing the identified candidate a stipend and allowing for advanced study or research.
