Alan R. Green

Alan Green recently retired as senior vice president for administration and operations of the UPMC Physician Services Division, which employs thousands of doctors in academic faculty, community-based, and emergency department physician practices. Mr. Green has devoted his career to the management of sophisticated health care operations in both hospital and physician office settings, and he recently was a hospital patient himself, giving him a rare dual perspective on the health care experience.

 Doron Netzer, MD

Doron Netzer, MD

Dr. Doron Netzer is deputy CEO of Meir Hospital–Sapir Medical Center, a 700-bed facility that provides health care services to a population of more than 700,000 in Kfar Saba, Israel. He has been affiliated with Clalit Health Services since 1999 as a family practitioner and as medical manager of Clalit’s Sharon Shomron District (an area north of Tel Aviv with more than 600,000 residents). Dr. Netzer graduated cum laude from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology’s Rappaport Faculty of Medicine and received a master’s degree in health administration from Ben-Gurion University, Israel. He is board-certified in family medicine and teaches family medicine at the Rappaport Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Netzer is a regular speaker at industry conferences on topics such as evidence-based medicine and medical information integration in the community practice setting.

Diana Oreck is responsible for setting the global internal learning strategy for Ritz-Carlton’s 32,000 employees around the world. She also oversees the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, a corporate university open to the public since the year 2000. Ms. Oreck has more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She was educated in Mexico, England, and Switzerland, and received her degree in hotel studies from the Ecole Hoteliere in Lausanne, Switzerland. Ms. Oreck is a member of the Credit Suisse Business School advisory board.

Rina Yahalom, MD

Dr. Rina Yahalom is deputy CEO of Kaplan Medical Center in Rehovot, Israel. This important regional medical center of 550 beds provides inpatient and outpatient services and serves as a teaching hospital for the Hebrew University of Jerusalem's Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Yahalom previously served as medical director of Clalit Health Services' Central District (more than 500,000 patients and 550 doctors) and is a partner in a large group practice (more than 3,000 patients). She is a graduate of Tel Aviv University's Sackler Faculty of Medicine and is a certified specialist in family medicine. Dr. Yahalom is the recipient of several awards for qualitative care practices and is a regular speaker at industry conferences on a number of topics, including medical information integration in the community
practice setting.
