Mary Chester Wasko, M.D. is a highly respected clinical rheumatologist who specializes in rheumatoid arthritis (RA), polyarticular osteoarthritis and gout. Her research interests include cardiovascular disease in RA, epidemiology of malignancies in RA, new treatments for RA, medication adherence in RA and exercise patterns in RA.
Dr. Wasko is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
She received her medical degree from the University of North Carolina, and a master of science in public health from the University of Michigan. Dr. Wasko completed a postdoctoral fellowship in rheumatology at Michigan and did her residency and internship at Gesinger Medical Center. She received her undergraduate degree from Davidson College.
