Eye Medication Schedule
Instructions
Drops and ointment should be put into the space between your eyeball and your lower lid. To do this properly, first wash your hands with soap and water. You or the person helping you should place a finger on your cheek, below the lower lid, and pull downward. This fixes the skin against the cheekbone to form a “V” pocket, as shown. A mirror will be helpful if you are doing this alone. Be very careful that neither the tip of the dropper bottle nor the ointment tube touch the eyeball at any time.
