Shuttle Service
The Oakland-Shadyside Shuttle offers quick, convenient transportation for staff and visitors between the two campuses. At UPMC Shadyside, the shuttle stops at the UPMC Shadyside Medical Center Circle. In Oakland, staff can board the shuttle at Forbes Tower at Meyran Avenue, Victoria Street at Darragh Street, Scaife Hall at Terrace Street, and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC (WPIC) at O’Hara Street.
The UPMC Shadyside School of Nursing shuttle service goes to the Penn-Circle North Lot, Motor Square Garden Building, UPMC Shadyside, and Chatham University.

Parking
Motor Square Garden Parking
On-street metered parking and off-street metered spaces in lots are available close to the building. On-street meters are enforced Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Off-street meters are enforced 24 hours a day. Meter durations range from 30 minutes up to 10 hours.
Leased parking is available at the Penn Circle-North Lot for a fee of $54 per month. Free shuttle transportation is provided between the lot and the Motor Square Garden Building.
Parking in the AAA Customer Lot is strictly prohibited during daylight hours. However, students here in the evenings and weekends are permitted to park in the AAA Customer Lot.
Chatham University
Students are not permitted to park on the campus of Chatham University.
Affiliated Clinical Agencies
Transportation costs for travel to affiliated clinical agencies or related community experiences are the responsibility of the student. Students may park in designated garages at affiliated agencies at the visitor parking rate.
