Should specialized care be required for you or your baby, Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC is the place to be. Home to the region's largest Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Magee is equipped for and experienced in dealing with premature and sick newborns.

The new Intensive Care Unit, adjacent to the Womancare Birth Center, is designed for the most high-risk delivery situations. Three obstetrical operating rooms are available for planned and emergency cesarean section deliveries and related operative procedures.
