Before Watching the Video Information Session

The 22 minute information session you are about to watch will provide information on the types of bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery) available. In addition, pre- and postoperative expectations are discussed.

Weight loss surgery may help achieve long-term weight loss, reduce or eliminate life-threatening weight-related illnesses, increase life span, and improve quality of life. The Bariatric Surgery Program at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC provides a broad range of primary screening and tertiary treatments as well as consultations, second opinions, and more.

Before watching the information session, please click here to access the Initial Evaluation Form that you can print and fill out once you have finished watching the entire session.
