Anesthesiology
This clerkship is offered year-round to third- and fourth-year medical students. Two students are accepted per rotation for a one-month duration. Under supervision, the student will perform pre-anesthetic evaluation, administer general and regional anesthesia, and deliver immediate postoperative care. Specific experiences include tracheal intubation, mechanical ventilation, monitoring, and applied pharmacology of anesthetics and related drugs.
