Curriculum

The UPMC Mercy transitional year residency program consists of seven required and six elective rotations of four weeks each.

Required Rotations

The seven required rotations include:

  • three blocks of general internal medicine
  • one block of night medicine
  • one block of critical care
  • one block of ambulatory medicine
  • one block of emergency medicine

  • other electives by arrangement with program director
