The UPMC Mercy Health Center provides outpatient medical care and educational assistance on issues relating to obtaining health insurance and coverage for medical services. Staff and physicians are dedicated to providing everyone an opportunity to address medical needs, and will work with individuals to overcome financial barriers to obtaining health services.

The UPMC Mercy South Side Outpatient Center provides a comprehensive range of outpatient diagnostic and routine services to South Pittsburgh residents in a convenient, one-stop location.
Services include:
- diagnostic imaging, including x-ray, fluoroscopy, EKG, mammography, and other noncomplex imaging services
- same-day surgery
- laboratory services, such as blood work
- cardiology services, such as echocardiogram, stress test, nuclear medicine, and Holter monitoring
- endoscopy
- medical procedures unit
- urgent care
- physician offices
- support groups and classes
Conditions treated at the Urgent Care Center include:
- sore throats
- minor cuts
- sprained joints
- earaches
- colds and flu
- physical examinations
- minor broken bones, such as fingers, toes, and noses
Our services are available without an appointment 12 hours a day, seven days a week — just walk in when you need us. The urgent care center will be open to serve your needs Monday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
