Nurse practitioners join Greenville Medical Center-UPMC
Greenville, PA -Two certified registered nurse practitioners recently joined the staff of Greenville Medical Center-UPMC.
Lori Daugherty-Switzer, CRNP, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Villa Maria College, Erie, and a master’s degree in nursing from the University of Virginia. She earned her family nurse practitioner certification from Kent State University. Before joining UPMC Horizon, Ms. Daugherty-Switzer was an assistant professor of nursing at Thiel College in Greenville.
Amy Thompson, CRNP, earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Slippery Rock University and a master’s degree in nursing with a family nurse practitioner concentration from Clarion University. She most recently worked as a nurse in the Emergency Department at UPMC Horizon’s Greenville campus and as a flight nurse for STAT MedEvac.
Ms. Daugherty-Switzer and Ms. Thompson provide patient care throughout Greenville Medical Center’s physician practices.
