UPMC Urgent Care at Hermitage to host community open house
HERMITAGE, August 30, 2011 – UPMC Urgent Care at Hermitage, located in the Hermitage Crossing Plaza on Route 18, will host a community open house Thursday, Sept. 15, from 3 to 6 p.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce will take place at 3:15 p.m.
The full-service, walk-in clinic, which opened Aug. 29, is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week and offers immediate care for a variety of illnesses and injuries as well as physicals, flu shots, and onsite x-ray and laboratory services. A physician is on site at all times.
The center also houses UPMC Horizon’s Occupational Medicine program, which provides employee health services to UPMC Horizon employees and approximately 300 business clients in the region.
