Reserved parking, refurbished entrance available for ambulatory, oncology, and wound care patients
Greenville , PA — UPMC Horizon has designated 40 parking spaces in the rear lot of its Greenville campus for Ambulatory Services, Center for Wound Treatment, and outpatient oncology patients. Any patient coming to the hospital for an outpatient surgery procedure, wound clinic, or outpatient oncology should park in one of these reserved spaces, which offer easy access to the hospital’s east entrance.
These changes are a result of the completion of the latest phase of UPMC Horizon’s $6 million surgery construction project, which include a renovated and re-located Ambulatory Services Department and improvements to the outpatient surgery registration area and the Center for Wound Treatment. In addition, as part of the latest project phase, the hospital’s east entrance was enhanced with a new sidewalk, automatic door, and carpeting.
The new Ambulatory Services Department will begin receiving patients on Monday, July 6. The entire surgery construction project is expected to be completed by the end of 2009.
