Hospital auxiliary plans tree-lighting ceremony for Remembrance Tree
Farrell, PA – The UPMC Horizon Shenango Auxiliary will hold its 20th annual “Remembrance Tree” lighting ceremony Saturday, Dec. 5, at 2 p.m. in the main lobby of the Shenango Valley campus in Farrell.
For a minimum $5 donation, a personalized ornament will be placed on the tree in memory or in honor of someone special to the donor. A card will be sent to the person being honored or the family of the person being remembered to acknowledge the donation.
Donations – along with the donor’s name, address, phone number, and the name of the honored/remembered person – should be sent to Shirley Miller, Hospitality Shop, 2200 Memorial Drive, Farrell, PA, 16121. Checks should be made payable to UPMC Horizon Shenango Auxiliary.
Money raised from Remembrance Tree donations support auxiliary projects, including hospital improvements.
