UPMC Horizon offers a range of general surgery procedures. Many can be performed through laparoscopic, or minimally invasive, methods.
Several surgeons on our staff have undergone advanced training in minimally invasive surgery, enabling them to perform procedures through one small incision. This technique reduces the risk of complications and helps the patient recover from surgery more quickly.
