The UPMC St. Margaret Insulin Pump class is for people that are interested in finding out more about insulin pump therapy, or are preparing for a pump start. it will offer the pros and cons of insulin pumps and clear up any confusion about insulin pump therapy.
This class is not a pump start class and is not intended for people that are alreay on pump therapy.

Insurance reimbursement
Most insurance companies will reimburse for insulin pump preparation classes. Pre-approval and authorization numbers may be required with certain insurances.
