Satellite Locations
While the hub, Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC in Oakland, houses administration and is the location for ambulatory care, inpatient, and complex medical procedures, Magee extends into communities throughout the region. A satellite network of comprehensive Womancare Centers, located in suburban areas of Allegheny County, offers a range of diagnostic testing such as mammography, ultrasound, and bone density testing, combined with convenient physician office practices for general ob/gyn and women's specialty physicians. Magee has Womancare Centers in partnership with UPMC Horizon in Hermitage as part of its regional initiatives.
Neighborhood Health Centers
Neighborhood Health Centers, located in communities that have been medically underserved, help to meet the primary preventive health care needs of women, including poor women whose unique health care needs have never been adequately addressed by traditional models of health service.
Programs are available for those with low or no income or no insurance. We accept most insurances. Transportation can be provided.
