Women’s Midlife Health Center
At the Women’s Midlife Health Center, we provide gender-based consultative service to improve the overall health care of women facing complex medical and gynecologic problems in midlife. Our specialists work closely with referring physicians to coordinate services and provide recommendations for care.
Our experienced core group of clinicians, practicing in gynecology, internal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and integrative medicine, will enable you to access a multidisciplinary team of experts here at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC. We have established relationships with physicians in a wide range of specialties, including digestion, bladder function, cancer, and heart disease.
Our women’s health specialists work together to offer consultation, diagnostic testing, and support services for perimenopausal and menopausal women. Because our experts share resources, research, and expertise, you not only benefit from their collaboration, you can be confident they are caring for nearly every aspect of your health—all in one place.

Getting Started
You do not need a referral from your physician to be seen at the Women’s Midlife Health Center. If you would like to seek treatment at the Center, please follow these steps:
1. Call us to make an appointment.
To make an appointment, call the Midlife Health Center at 412-641-8889 (For complete hours and information see our Contact Us page).
2. Complete a health assessment.
Prior to being seen, we ask that you answer a series of questions about your medical information and health history. This will help us determine which health care providers and services should be scheduled for your first visit.
We recommend you download and complete the health assessment as soon as possible after making your appointment. Please bring it with you when you come for your appointment. If you choose not to or cannot complete the form before your visit, you may complete it in our office on the day of your appointment.
