The Hillman Cancer Center Presents ‘Celebrate! A Future Without Cancer’
WHAT: “Celebrate! A Future Without Cancer,” a donor recognition and fundraising gala to benefit the Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Cancer Centers and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (UPCI). The gala also serves as a keystone event celebrating UPCI’s 25th anniversary.
WHO: More than 600 of the region’s leaders and longtime supporters of the Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Cancer Centers and UPCI will be recognized for their philanthropic generosity on behalf of these organizations.
Gala leadership includes: Susan and Steve McGalla, Vanessa and David Morehouse, gala co-chairs, Elsie and Henry Hillman, honorary chairs, Cathy and Sy Holzer, honorary chairs

WHY: One in every two people will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetimes. Clinicians and researchers at the Hillman Cancer Center, UPMC Cancer Centers and the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute dedicate their lives to treating and investigating this disease. Proceeds from this year’s gala will support research on cancer prevention, early detection and treatment, and provide financial assistance for patients.
