Pittsburgh Steeler Brett Keisel “Shears Da Beard” in Support of Cancer Programs at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC

WHAT: Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel will shear his famed beard for the second year in a row in support of the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC. This “ultimate mountain man makeover” will take place Thursday, Feb. 9 at Diesel Club Lounge. Surprise celebrity barbers will conduct the “shaving ceremony,” and Randy Baumann of the DVE morning show will emcee the event.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the “shaving ceremony” will take place at 7 p.m. The event will include food, drinks and door prizes. Live music also will be performed by Donnie Iris and the Chris Higbee Project.

Last year, the event raised nearly $40,000 for the Division of Hematology/Oncology.
