UPMC's 2001 Ranking in U.S. News & World Report
  

According to U.S. News & World Report, UPMC Health System ranked in the top 50 in 12 out of 17 specialty areas in 2001. In addition, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, which has since merged with UPMC, ranked fourth in pediatrics.
