UPMC's 2002 Ranking in U.S. News & World Report

According to U.S. News & World Report, UPMC hospitals were recognized in 2002 for excellence in 13 out of 17 specialty areas—more than any other hospital in western Pennsylvania—placing it 16th out of the 1,958 eligible hospitals in the United States.
