Conditions We Treat

Symptomatic wheezing and shortness of breath is not always asthma-related. In fact, asthma often presents along with other conditions such as vocal chord dysfunction, bronchiectasis, or immune disorders. Other conditions such as gastroesophageal reflux (GERD or heartburn), sinusitis, and allergies can exacerbate asthma symptoms. The Asthma Institute provides treatment of these conditions in an effort to lessen the frequency of asthma attacks or their severity.
