Aquatic Therapy
For patients with arthritis or chronic pain, fibromyalgia, or for those recovering from surgery, aquatic therapy provides a rehabilitation option that can decrease pain and stress on joints as water allows the body to become more buoyant, decreasing the amount of stress on joints. Aquatic therapy promotes early range of motion, increases flexibility, tones muscles, increases the healing and strengthening of injured tissues, and reduced joint stiffness.
