Balance and Vestibular Rehabilitation

Dizziness and balance problems can significantly affect quality of life and the ability to function.  In some cases dizziness results in a higher risk for falls and serious injury. There are many causes of dizziness, including vestibular (inner ear) disorders, brain disorders or injury, and migraine headaches. Our therapists are specially trained to help improve symptoms of dizziness, increase stability during walking, and reduce risk of falls.  Therapy consists of exercises specifically prescribed to help a patient’s condition so that he or she may work towards a safe and active lifestyle.
