Trauma Services
UPMC Presbyterian and UPMC Mercy are home to Level I Regional Resource Trauma Centers that provide immediate evaluation and treatment for patients with life-threatening, chronic, or acute medical or surgical conditions. UPMC Mercy is the only facility in western Pennsylvania to have a Level I trauma center and comprehensive burn center under one roof.
