A Comprehensive Approach to
Pain Management – Restorative Medicine.
Most people will experience physical pain at some point in their lives. But sometimes pain becomes chronic, affecting everyday life. Pain can result from injury, overuse injury, pregnancy, and conditions including arthritis, orthopaedic or musculosketal disorders, cancer, and nerve injury. Pain starts to invade every part of the patient’s life and slowly decreases the ability of the patient to function.
Our mission is to practice restorative medicine.
At the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, we believe a multidisciplinary approach to achieve the most effective management of pain is critical in improving and restoring function.
