Imaging Services

Cranberry Township

In February, UPMC Imaging Services opened a new imaging center at UPMC Passavant Cranberry in Cranberry Township, Pa. UPMC Passavant Cranberry’s new Imaging Center features the latest in imaging technology, including a 16-slice CT scanner, which offers higher-resolution images in just minutes, and two new MRI machines – one of which features a wider bore that can accommodate very large patients or those who suffer from claustrophobia. The new wide-bore MRI is the first of its kind in Butler County.

The new center also features PET scanning, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, peripheral vascular procedures, and bone density testing, in addition to digital mammography services, which are offered at the Comprehensive Breast Center, in the same location.

In addition to state-of-the-art imaging services, UPMC Passavant Cranberry’s Imaging Center is equipped with Stentor digital imaging technology, which replaces traditional film with high-quality digital images that can be sent to your physician electronically.

The center offers convenient, free parking; same-day, evening, and weekend hours; and spacious and comfortable waiting and testing areas.
