Minimally Invasive endoNeurosurgery Center

Neuroendoscopic Surgery

Neuroendoscopic surgery has revolutionized the treatment of brain tumors and other neurological problems. Instead of moving sensitive tissues to reach a target, neuroendoscopic surgeons can now access and treat most areas of the brain and upper spine by navigating endoscopes and miniature instruments through the nasal passages or dime-sized holes in the skull.

Using the Expanded Endonasal Approach (EEA) and other minimally invasive techniques, MINC surgeons can now operate safely on tumors and blood vessel problems with minimal movement of surrounding nervous tissue, thus minimizing the risk of damage. These new techniques also have made it possible to treat conditions once considered inoperable.

Neuroendoscopic surgery also offers patients surgical procedures without scars or disfigurement, fewer side effects and complications, and much shorter recovery times than conventional surgery.
