Patient Care
The Department of Radiology offers clinical services under the banner of UPMC Imaging Services at more than 30 hospitals and clinics throughout western Pennsylvania. The department has the most sophisticated imaging equipment available, including 64-slice CT and open-bore MR. Last year, 1.6 million imaging exams were performed by a group of more than 125 radiologists, most of whom are subspecialty trained. State-of-the-art equipment, coupled with the expertise of the department’s highly trained radiologists, ensures the best chance for an accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
