Donate or Volunteer
UPMC Senior Communities offer a wide array of programs and services to our residents. Helping our residents stay engaged instead of aged is important to the vitality of all of our communities. One key part of that engagement is providing opportunities for our residents, their families and friends, and interested members of the community, to donate their time, ideas, and energy through our dynamic volunteer program. Whether it’s leading a sing-along, escorting a resident to the doctor, teaching a ceramics class, or whatever your interest or talent, we have many ways for you to get involved. Time commitments can be as little as two hours per month and flexible to accommodate most schedules.
Engagement can also mean contributing to the UPMC Senior Communities Benevolent Care Fund, a free care fund for those who qualify, which helps to ensure that long term residents whose financial circumstances have changed, will not have to be uprooted and leave their home and their friends. You can support this fund through gifts of cash, annuities, securities, bequests, memorial contributions, and honorariums.
For more information on how to donate the gift of your time or monetary support, please contact Kelly Covone-Henning, Director of Volunteer Services at 412-784-4736.
