Canterbury Place

Located in historic Lawrenceville in the city of Pittsburgh, Canterbury Place offers all the amenities of personal care, skilled nursing, and memory support in an affordable, comfortable, homelike environment.

With a little support, Canterbury Place residents can stay active, healthy, and independent for many years. They enjoy the freedom and privacy of apartment living, while receiving help with daily activities, such as taking medications, bathing, and managing general hygiene.

For residents needing memory care and dementia support, Canterbury Place’s specialized memory support unit, Renaissance Hall, offers state-of-the-art memory care in a warm, homelike setting.

Residents enjoy an array of amenities and activities to engage the body, mind, and spirit. And their families can feel confident, as safety and security concerns are paramount at Canterbury Place.

Before moving in, each resident is evaluated to determine the level of assistance needed. Our nursing staff is on duty 24 hours daily, to assist with problems or emergencies. To support our residents, Canterbury Place staff works cooperatively with UPMC HomeCare.
