Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation Program
As part of UPMC’s Thomas E. Starzl Transplantation Institute, the Kidney and Pancreas Transplantation program offers traditional transplants of these organs from deceased donors as well as living-donor kidney transplantation options.
The program offers transplantation of a kidney, pancreas, or both organs at once to patients suffering from end-stage kidney disease, complications of diabetes, or both.
