Outpatient Clinic for Eating Disorders

The Eating Disorders Clinic at the UPMC Center for Eating Disorders offers:

  • Medical assessments — a clinic psychiatrist determines the need for medication
  • Nutritional counseling by a registered dietitian
  • Individual and group therapy
  • Family therapy — (This is critical for all patients with eating disorders, but especially for those under age 18.)
