Group health and fitness class with personal trainers Molly Goldcamp and Kat Barrett. We recommend that you bring a kettlebell, an exercise band, and a yoga mat. (Each class is $10 if you are not a Gold or Platinum member)

Mind Over Body

Group session designed to help you develop strategies for permanent weight control. The group is led by Barbara C. Penner, M.S., Lifestyle Behaviorist. (The event is $10 if you are not a Gold or Platinum member).

Yoga

Magee-Womens Hospital, Zero Level Atrium

This class, led by certified yoga instructor Kristin Bundy, features beginner poses and a gentle, slow pace. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring your yoga mat. (Each class is $10 if you are not a Gold or Platinum member).

August – “Party in the Park” Join BodyChangers for some healthy snacks and then walk it off as we take a few laps around the Highland Reservoir. Try out some healthy food options and even bring some to share. Bring your recipes and we'll help you modify them in the future to help cut back on some calories without sacrificing flavor. Meet in front of the fountain at Highland Park.

Adventures

PrepAbility

Saturday, September 20

 PrepAbility is a group cooking class that helps you "prep" your meals and gives you the "ability" to cook at home on your own. In addition, you will take home nine meals! Previous participants: bring your old containers to re-use them!
 
The event is limited to 12 people, so hurry and register by September 15th. You can do so by calling 855-BODY-CHG or emailing us at bodychangers@upmc.edu. Event is $35. Forbes Tower, 3600 Forbes Avenue (Oakland, 15213), Room 4063.
