Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a set of chronic conditions, including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease, that cause inflammation in the digestive tract, mainly in the intestine. It is a chronic, life-long condition.

If you have IBD, you may experience painful symptoms, including:

  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Rectal bleeding
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Weight loss

You are not alone. Nearly 1.6 million Americans live with IBD. But each patient has a different journey and reacts to treatments differently, making it important for you to access the best possible care.
