Center for Balance Disorders

Dedicated to the evaluation and care of patients with balance disorders, the UPMC Center for Balance Disorders is a resource for people of all ages with balance problems. On your first visit, a team of experts will be available who use state-of-the-art technology to provide a thorough evaluation and treatment plan. The team works together to evaluate and treat your balance disorders.
 
The UPMC Center for Balance Disorders features a specialized Balance Laboratory facility, designed to test your balance system. Several different types of tests may be performed, depending on your symptoms.
 
A balance disorder may be a sign of other medical problems. To guarantee a comprehensive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of even the most complex balance disorders, the center's staff consults with specialists in other fields such as otolaryngology and psychiatry.
