Echocardiography

Precise measures of cardiac function including:

• Stress echocardiography
• Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) –
  UPMC Presbyterian offers three-dimensional TEE to diagnose heart disease. 

Nuclear Cardiology

UPMC Presbyterian offers state-of-the-art  nuclear cardiology systems including: a nuclear cardiology computer information system with capabilities that extend beyond commercially available systems

• a 64-slice CT scanner for cardiac CT imaging
• a technologically advanced education center

Cadiac MRI

UPMC Presbyterian is the only hospital in the UPMC system that offers a full range of cardiac MRI services. 

Working together with the Adult Congenital Heart Disease Center at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, UPMC Presbyterian doctors are utilizing highly advanced cardiac MRI procedures to diagnose genetic heart diseases and defects.
