Minimally Invasive Endovascular Thoracic Aortic Repair

The 3-D images below show how a large descending thoracic aortic aneurysm was effectively treated by endovascular aortic stent graft that excludes the aneurysm.

Image 1 shows the aneurysm sac blocked without any blood flow in the sac. Image 2 shows normal blood flow through the stent graft, excluding the surrounding aneurysm.

This patient’s treatment and results may not be representative of all similar cases.
