UPMC Multiple Sclerosis Center

The UPMC Multiple Sclerosis Center offers a full array of treatments and therapies to help improve the health and function of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) and other immunologic conditions, such as neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody disorder, myelitis, optic neuritis, autoimmune seizure disorders and neurologic disorders associated with Sjogren's syndrome, and sarcoidosis. Our center has been designated by the National MS Society as a Center for Comprehensive MS Care, and provides both state-of-the-art clinical care and clinical trials of novel treatments.

More than 2,500 people are treated by our team, which includes neurologists, physician assistants, and nurses who are experts in MS care, and who help meet the needs of people with MS at all levels of disease severity.

Our center offers a variety of proven oral and infusion therapies, as well as multi-center trials of novel oral or infusion therapies for MS.
