Dr. Engle is a clinical assistant professor of neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He specializes in spinal surgery, neurosurgical trauma, and neuro-oncology.
Dr. Engle earned his medical degree, completed an internship in general surgery, completed a residency in neurosurgery, and received fellowship training in Gamma Knife® stereotactic neurosurgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He is board-certified in neurological surgery.
Dr. Engle is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of both the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Congress of Neurological Surgeons. He has authored articles in such publications as American Journal of Neuroradiology and Journal of Neuro-oncology.
