Nestled in the distinguished Squirrel Hill neighborhood of the city of Pittsburgh, Heritage Place’s clean Georgian architecture and neatly landscaped yard extend a warm invitation to come inside. Heritage Place provides quality health care to its residents and offers a variety of programs that meet the needs of people who no longer require hospital care, but need 24-hour nursing and other personal care services.
Skilled nursing professionals at Heritage Place offer a comprehensive plan of health care services, including, but not limited to, care for people with:
- Arthritis
- Blood disorders

- Slow healing wounds
We also provide hospice support for residents with end-of-life illnesses.
Registered nurse supervisors direct nursing care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Residents may continue using their personal physicians if they are on the Heritage Place medical staff. If not, one can be selected from the list of physicians provided.
Heritage Place successfully bridges the gap between hospital and home by providing continuing care for patients who have been in the hospital for major surgery.
Heritage Place is conveniently located near public transportation and the Squirrel Hill shopping district, and is only two miles from UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Shadyside, and the Oakland and Shadyside shopping districts.
