The Abdominal Transplant Unit on 11 North is a medical-surgical unit specializing in the care of pre- and postoperative abdominal transplant patients.

Patients include those who have had or are awaiting deceased-donor and living-related liver and kidney transplants, small bowel transplants, pancreas transplants, liver resection, and liver oncology patients. 

Through an interdisciplinary approach, quality care is delivered to patients using a customized primary nursing modality to meet the physical, emotional, and educational needs of both patients and their families.
