The Transplant Unit on 12 North is a monitored progressive care unit specializing in the care of pre- and postoperative solid organ/reconstructive transplant patients. 

This includes deceased-donor and living-related liver and kidney transplants, pancreas transplants, small bowel transplants, multivisceral transplants, and reconstructive transplants.

The primary function of the unit is to provide family-centered, evidence-based, comprehensive, quality nursing care to patients and their families.
