John P. Franz, MD, is an assistant professor of urology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Franz received his medical degree from Georgetown University Medical School, followed by training at Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Quebec, the National Institutes of Health, in Bethesda, Md., McGill University in Montreal, Québec, and Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, Va.
Dr. Franz’s areas of interest include general urology, bladder dysfunction, and urine infections. He is board certified by the American Board of Urology.
