Michael C. Ost, MD

Michael C. Ost, MD, is an associate professor of urology and vice chairman of the Department of Urology, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and chief of the division of pediatric urology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Following surgical and urologic residencies at Mount Sinai, Dr. Ost completed fellowship training in endourology at the North Shore — Long Island Jewish Medical Center and in pediatric urology at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh. Dr. Ost’s clinical interests include adult and pediatric minimally-invasive urologic surgery, robotic treatment of urologic diseases and complex stone disease. He is a member of the American Urological Association and the Endourological Society.
