This full-service, acute-care community hospital serves residents of Venango County and the surrounding region. UPMC Northwest has been named a 100 top hospital for four consecutive years and a Cleverley's 5-Star hospital for the past two years.

Visiting Hours
During visiting hours, please be considerate of other patients by limiting the number of visitors to two at a time. Visiting hours at UPMC Northwest are from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for all inpatient units, with the exception of intensive care. Immediate family members are permitted to visit patients admitted to the intensive care unit for 15-minute sessions every two hours on the even numbered hours (except at 8 a.m.). Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times and my visit family members between 4 and 6 p.m.
Gift Shop
Located just off the main lobby, the gift shop at UPMC Northwest is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. It is closed Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. The shop offers a wide variety of gifts, toys, stationery, greeting cards, and flowers. The UPMC Northwest Auxiliary operates the shop, with proceeds benefiting UPMC Northwest programs and services.
Parking
Parking lots are located around the perimeter of the hospital and are convenient to all entrances. All parking is provided free of charge.

From the North (Oil City/Titusville area)
Follow Route 62 north out of Oil City, and bear right onto Route 257 at the bottom of Seneca Hill. Remain on Route 257 for approximately six miles. The entrance to UPMC Northwest is on the left.
From the West (Franklin area)
Follow Route 322 east out of Franklin. Remain on Route 322 for approximately six miles. At the intersection of routes 322 and 257, turn left onto Route 257, and continue for approximately one mile. The entrance to UPMC Northwest is on the right.
From the East (Clarion County area)
From Clarion, take Route 322 west approximately 15 miles to the intersection of routes 322 and 257. Turn right onto Route 257 and continue for approximatelyone mile. The entrance to UPMC Northwest is on the right.
From Venus/Fryburg area, take Route 157 approximately 12 miles to the intersection of Horsecreek Road (blinker light). Turn left onto Horsecreek Road. At the next intersection (stop sign), turn right onto East State Road. At the end of East State Road/traffic signal, turn left onto Route 257. Follow Route 257 approximately two miles. The entrance to UPMC Northwest is on the left.
From the South (Pittsburgh area)
Follow Interstate 79 north, then Interstate 80 east to Exit 29 (Barkeyville/Oil City/Franklin Area). Turn left and follow Route 8 North into Franklin (approximately 10 miles). Proceed straight through town (Liberty Street) on Routes 8/322. Proceed on Route 322 east out of Franklin. Remain on Route 322 for approximately six miles. At the intersection of Routes 322 and 257, turn left onto Route 257, and continue for approximately one mile. The entrance to UPMC Northwest is on the right.
