Serving the residents of northern Allegheny and southern Butler counties, UPMC Passavant offers a broad range of services, including cardiac care and open heart surgery, cancer care, orthopaedics, women's care, and emergency medicine. Visiting Hours
Visiting hours at UPMC Passavant have been established for the comfort of our patients. Physician or nursing personnel may extend these hours, depending on the patient's needs.
- Private and Semi-Private Rooms
Noon to 8:30 p.m.
- Intensive Care
9 to 9:30 a.m.
11 to 11:30 a.m.
1 to 1:30 p.m.
5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
8 to 8:30 p.m.
Gift Shop
The Reflections Gift Shop is located on the first floor of UPMC Passavant, near the main entrance. It offers a variety of personal amenities, giftware, fresh flowers, cards, magazines, and disposable cameras. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The shop is closed on holidays.
Send an E-Card
UPMC Passavant offers friends and family members the opportunity to send their loved one an e-card while he or she is a patient. Choose from a selection of get well, happy birthday, new baby, and holiday greetings. To take advantage of this free service, visit the UPMC E-Card website.

From the North
Take Route 19 South through the Wexford business district. Take the McKnight Road Exit; proceed to the fourth traffic light (Cumberland Road intersection). Turn left onto Cumberland Road. At the first traffic light, go straight ontothe hospital campus. Make first left into parking lots.
From the East
Take I-376 West (the Parkway) toward Pittsburgh. Take exit to I-279 North. Stay on I-279 to exit 11, McKnight Roads. Exit ramp leads you directly onto McKnight Road, northbound. Pass Ross Park Mall, McIntyre Square, and Northway Mall. Once you pass TGI Fridays Restaurant, on your right, get into the right lane. At the second traffic light (Cumberland Road), turn right. Follow Cumberland to traffic light. Go straight through intersection onto hospital campus.Make first left into parking lots.
From Downtown
Take I-279 North to exit 11, McKnight Road. Exit ramp leads you directly onto McKnight Road, northbound. Stay on McKnight past Ross Park Mall, McIntyre Square, and Northway Mall. Once you pass TGI Fridays Restaurant, on your right, get into the right lane. At the second traffic light (Cumberland Road), turn right. Follow Cumberland to traffic light. Go straight through intersection, onto hospital campus. Make first left into parking lots.
