Dr. Michael W. Collins and his associates will speak about the global epidemic with concussions in sports/recreation and how UPMC has been establishing the international trends to evaluate and treat concussions for years.

Dr. O. Okonkwo and Dr. Schneider will discuss game-changing brain imaging called High Definition Fiber Tracking (HDFT), which for the first time can show damage to brain connections caused by traumatic brain injury.
